The convenience, speed, energy saving and environmental protection of the medium frequency induction furnace make it more and more widely used. The applications are not only for forging heating, casting and melting, but also for round steel heating, quenching and tempering, and round steel rolling. The application is also increasing year by year. The popularization and application of the mechanical thermal processing industry will inevitably bring about the maintenance of the medium frequency induction furnace. Among them, the unattractive but very important problem---the water leakage hazard of the medium frequency induction furnace has been mentioned on the agenda.
1. During the operation of the intermediate frequency induction furnace, the thyristors, capacitors, reactors, connecting copper bars and heating induction coils of the intermediate frequency power supply will generate a lot of heat. This requires circulating cooling water as a cooling medium to forcibly cool these components. When the cooling water runs in the pipeline, scale will be generated and the pipeline will be blocked, causing the pipeline pressure to increase; When the temperature of each component increases, these pressure increases and local temperature increase will cause the faucet to rupture or the component temperature to increase and damage, resulting in the stagnation of the operation of the intermediate frequency induction furnace.
2. The medium frequency induction furnace runs for a long time, and the acid and alkali of the cooling medium are different. The acid medium will oxidize the copper water nozzle and generate green copper oxide, which will cause the copper water nozzle to corrode and leak water, resulting in insufficient cooling water pressure for the medium frequency induction furnace and cannot be started.
3. The cooling pipeline hose and hose clamp of the intermediate frequency induction furnace will leak water if it is not used properly, especially the water leakage inside the intermediate frequency power supply. It will cause short circuit of lines and components, reduction of electrical insulation, etc. The operator cannot find the water leakage of the indoor power cabinet in time, which will burn the components, resulting in the abnormal shutdown of the intermediate frequency induction furnace and affecting the production.
4. In order to avoid the scaling of the pipeline, the cooling medium of the intermediate frequency induction furnace is often cooled by pure water, which reduces the generation of calcium carbonate in the pipeline and avoids the shutdown of the intermediate frequency induction furnace caused by the blockage of the pipeline.
